It allows colleges to ensure that the students they admit are a good fit for their campus. While many people neglect this aspect of the college application, it is one of the primary reasons why applicants who have met all of the college's requirements are still rejected.

There is no specific trait that colleges look for. In other words, you cannot change your current character. However, some common characteristics among Ivy League students include ambition, humility, Compassionate, and risk-taking.
