It is Okay If I Don’t Do Sports In High School?

Athletics, like the other big five, is graded from one to six. One is the best, and six is the worst. However, because not everyone participates in sports, athletics are less important in college applications than the other five. It's more of an optional boost that could improve your application if you performed well in a sport. As a result, don't be concerned if you didn't participate in school sports; the admissions officer will understand.

What’s the Purpose of Having Athletics Section?

Athletics sections are primarily for recruited athletes, but they are also an excellent way for non-recruited athletes to demonstrate how they manage their free time to admission officers. It shows admission officers that you can do well academically while also having time to go outside and play sports.
